It may be delicious at the time, but you do not want to deal with a week of cramping and bathroom issues because you had fries when you could have gone for something a bit healthier.

Additionally, if you want to help IBS, then you need to go with foods that have soluble fiber. A great way to get such an item is to eat a lot of foods with bran. This is easier than you might think: bran is in everything from cereals to muffins. You can add this nutrient to variety of baked goods and recipes to help IBS and your overall health.

If you want to help IBS, you need to exercise. One of the best exercises to help IBS is yoga. The stretches and breathing exercises you do will result in an increased level of flexibility and stronger abdominal muscles. This will help any abdominal cramping you may have had and will help your body learn how to digest its food. Additionally, since so much of IBS is linked to stress, yoga will help this too because it is a great way to relax and de-stress after a long day.
