Many times a large meal will cause the valve between the stomach and the throat to not close properly causing the acid to escape up into the throat. Many will find heartburn pain relief from eating smaller more frequent meals that will give the stomach time to digest the meals properly and not have to go into over drive producing acid to help with the digestion.

  1. Don't ignore acid reflux. It leads to esophegeal cancer which is almost always fatal. I am surprised that this article does not mention that huge detail. heartburn no more review
